What is Camp Marigold Moon?
Camp Marigold Moon is a 3-day, 2-night summer gathering for women, designed as a design-your-own-adventure experience. It blends nostalgic summer camp activities, creative and reflective workshops, nourishing meals, and plenty of time to rest — all in a supportive, pressure-free environment.

- 2 nights accommodations in shared cabins
- All meals and snacks from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch
- All workshops, activities and supplies
- Access to camp amenities
Where and when does Camp take place?
Camp Marigold Moon takes place July 24–26 in Goderich, Ontario at Camp Kintail, along the shores of Lake Huron.
Who is Camp Marigold Moon for?
Camp Marigold Moon is for women (19+) who are craving rest, connection, creativity, and a softer pace — whether you come on your own or with a friend. You don’t need any prior experience with retreats, camps, or workshops to attend.
What does “design-your-own-adventure” mean?
There will be a selection of optional activities and workshops to choose from and plenty of opportunity for crafting your own fun or rest. There is no expectation to attend everything, and rest is just as valued as participation.
What kinds of activities will be offered?
Offerings will include:
- Canoeing, swimming, archery, crafts, and campfires
- Creative, reflective, and body/mind/soul workshops led by different facilitators
- Quiet time for rest, reading, and nature walks
- An evening program including the special Moonlit Gathering: A Sparkly Social on Saturday evening.
A detailed schedule along with workshop options will be shared closer to Camp.
Do I have to participate in all the activities?
Not at all. Camp Marigold Moon is intentionally shame-free and pressure-free. You are encouraged to listen to your body and choose what feels right in each moment.
I’m introverted / nervous about coming alone — is this for me?
Absolutely. We expect some guests to come solo. Camp is designed to feel welcoming, gentle, and inclusive, with plenty of space for both connection and quiet.
Is there free time?
Yes — intentionally so. Camp includes unstructured time each day to rest, reflect, explore nature, socialize with new friends or simply be.
What is the overall vibe?
Think warm, relaxed, welcoming, and thoughtful — not overly scheduled, not performative, and not “high-energy”… unless you want it to be (in that case pack your dancing shoes!)
What kind of food will be served?
Meals will be thoughtfully prepared using local, seasonal ingredients, with a focus on nourishment and enjoyment. The camp staff is accustomed to modifying menus and/or ensuring alternatives for any food restrictions.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes, our venue is committed to accommodating dietary needs. You’ll be invited to share dietary information during registration.
How do accommodations work?
Accommodations are shared and camp-style (bunk beds), designed for comfort and simplicity. There will be fewer people in the cabins than beds, allowing you to spread out a bit.
If you’re going with friends, there will be an opportunity to submit your rooming requests.
What should I bring?
A detailed packing list will be sent to registered guests closer to the event. Think comfortable clothing, layers, and anything that helps you feel at ease.
What if I have more questions?
